So in this instance a unit that is in Zoc, gets displaced to make room for say pikemen on a 40mm base. that would leave the Light Infantry at 1 UD and free to move.

Does being at 1 UD put it in Zoc ...

IF the light infantry move.. it would be a full move backwards... no discussion on that one...

But I am just going off the new FAQ, which says it can move if displaced.. looking for clarification i ...

But taking the second diagram and assuming that B and Z are already aligned and B moves straight ah ...

So just to clarify, it can choose to conform to the new enemy as per the last bullet point in page 36 under "charge definition" But if it does not choose this then would be required to trave ...

Well A is slightly further back in our scenario, so E0 could contact A without having to displace anything, allowing E1 and E2 to conform on their charge.

Is it possible for a unit to slide twice in the same direction, once at the start of a charge and then again in order to confirm.

Had an opponent do this to get more desirable match ups (for him). ...
