I'm looking at building a Sumerian army. Partly to get access to troop types I'm unfamiliar with, e.g. chariots and camels. But also because I'm fascinated by the earliest civilizations.

Would there be any merit in Including all my commanders in their corps' MCv unit? That would free up 6 points, and if I also gave up the 2 points of Fortifications, I could buy 2 LI Bows. A mighty 27 ...

I think I have now had three main pieces of advice:

Take no cavalry
Take cavalry, and spread it amongst the corps as a second line
Take cavalry, and use it as a corps on a wing

All very differ ...

An alternative would be to lose the MCv, and go all-infantry:
