A primary historical source would be ideal of course.
In all my studies I cannot find ... |

Both mixed units (of Knights and Archer etc) and units of foot Knights passing through Archers and vice versa are (generally) complete nonsense - with no historical justification.
I suspect if you ... |

Wow I actually never knew this! We usually just play off the quick reference sheet and have been playing where MI spear get impact vs mounted... This makes MI spear that much worse! And to think they ... |

There has been some very sound advice already given. I will add my 2 cents from experience.
1. Spear is over costed, avoid as your main unit type if you can.
2. I suggest using list #100 instead, ... |

If you check p36 Charge Movement, the text says
"At the beginning of a charge, it is also possible to wheel, slide (not both) or make a turn followed by an optional wheel."
Basically ... |

Crossbowmen by far. There’s a decent case to be made for saying all longbowmen in general are over priced. The -1 to protection is dependent on the opponent 1) having protection and 2) not being lig ... |

I stand corrected on the extension! I wasn’t aware you could extend into contact but it is indeed outlined in the rules!Â
I also read the section about sliding and it is worded to where the situ ... |

As to the extension, I thought that couldn’t be combined with a charge movement? Correct me if I’m wrogg but the only movement allowed before or during a charge maneuver is a wheel, slide, or stra ... |

Your first interpretation is correct. You do any such maneuvering fist then declare a charge at which point your opponent declares his evade. Thus the time to slide has already passed. Pike indeed are ... |
