You don't need to declare all the targets for a charge. The only prerequisite is that one unit in the group can contact an enemy. There is nothing there that states you have to declare all targets etc ... |

I am pretty sure you don't get to choose. The person declaring the charge picks the element or group to the front and then if they evade can continue on to contact a new enemy who were behind them who ... |

It is confusing having the "official Amendments' and also the FAQ which has amendments in it to be fair.

Yeah it does Stephen, Y is the nearest one and its ZOC extends out to part of the unit's front edge. |

Conforming after melee is compulsory for impetuous units but restrictions on contact (presumably moving within a ZOC) ... |

I didn't think foot ever got impact against Cavalry (charging or receiving) with the exception of spear and pike receiving a charge from mounted (except elephants). |
