A Conformance into an enemy unit in contact is not a charge.
This negates first round effects.
The enemy can evade conformance as well as a charge.
It does count for multiple attacks. (Apologies for the prior version, it's right there in black and white.)
Are there any other considerations I've missed? |

I think you need to re-read conformation (p50), which can be complex at first sight.
There are five times in the game turn when conformation can occur, listed in "Time of Conformation". I think you are refering to conformation after a melee, where a unit has been destroyed, and a surviving unit, finding itself still in contact with another enemy, conforms with that enemy - think of it as continuing a melee. |
