lionelrus a écrit: | Well, it's clear clarification is needed. So, at first, player A charge and can't conform for any reason (terrain, ennemy unit, beer bottle on table, and so on...) |
The ("English") problem here is that the rule on p53 does have a specific list of things ("table edge, terrain, friendly units") to prevent conformation, but does not then say "and so on..."
Because there is no "and so on" at the end of the list on p53 on p53, AND because on p52 the rule on shifting units is very clear that only Friendly Units can be shifted in conforming, there is a logic for players to think that Enemy units are different to Friendly units in all of the rules about difficult conforming situations - if they cannot be shifted, perhaps also they cannot be a cause of incomplete conformation..?
It is a small point, but I think there probably is a legitimate reason for "and so on" to be added to p53 in the next FAQ _________________ www.madaxeman.com |

I have a feeling this may have resulted from the reorganisation of V3 when creating V4.
However, that said, I agree with Lionelrus and Tim that in this case there is a 'generalisation' that permits an incomplete conformation to take place. I will pass this on to El Kreator. |

In the meantime all the English-speakers will keep playing it sensibly by reading it: In some situations, it may happen that complete conformation is not possible due to, for example, ......
Next catastrophe please. |
