page 20 says
Some units include bowmen...in their rear ranks...adds +1 to the die roll...
Means as a Missile Support bonus.
But there is the Note saying mixed unit DO NOT have the Missile Support.
Example: Indian swordsmen with archers as mixed unit
But then, who else can receive Missile Support? Sample for such unit?
Can someone clarify please? |

| Those listed in the Army List with support. According to page 81 Budget, this is spearmen and swordsmen, although I'm not sure the table is always definitive. Note that some Cv dismounts with support. |

| This is one of the big changes from V3 to V4. Units with bows (any type) do not get missile support. Only units that have support listed in the army list can have missile support. For example List 201 Ghavnavid on page 206. Look at the Ghavnavid Infantry - Hvy Spearmen add support for one point. If you pay 9 points you get hvy spearmen with missile support. |
