A unit is in melee support with its front edge in contact with an enemy. It only has one cohesion point left.
In the opponent's turn it is contacted in the flank by an enemy. It loses its last cohesion point in that movement phase per page 61.
It then receives a rout marker and page 61 also says melees against it are not resolved in the combat phase.
So in that combat phase does it continue to set the opponent's base factor to zero per page 63?
I think so as it is not removed from the table until the rout phase. |

I suppose at the beguinig he was in contact to the flank.
The effect remains until the rout phase, so he still set ennemy factor to 0. _________________ "Quand on a pas de technique, faut y aller à la zob"

The enemy striking the flank would be a main unit during the enemy's melee phase. So the struck zero cohesion unit is now in melee and can no longer offer melee or simple support, and does not roll, just routs afterwards.

Sigh. I forgot that you need not be in melee support, merely be in contact on the flank or rear to zero CF and cancel Special Abilities. |
