1. Under Feudal French there is the Southern French (after 1185) sub-list. It states (all in one box):
“Aragonese or Navarrese allies (List 199 Feudal Spanish). No Strategist or Genoese and maximum of 4 Elite knights.â€
Does this mean that no Southern French army may have a Strategist, Genoese or more than 4 elite knights? Or only tha5 a Southern French army including a Spanish ally may not have a Strategist, Genoese or more than 4 elite knights?
2. What region (if any) and hence options I does Charles of Anjou (1266-1285) come from? Anjou seems a bit northerly but the notes talk about his “Mediterranean empire†and he was the Count of Provence from 1246 when he married Beatrice of Provence. Can he take the “Northern French (from 1200)†options? Or the “Southern French (after 1150)†options or only the “Charles of Anjou(from 1266 to 1285)†options? |
