I'd probably fuck it up knowing myself. But visually Early and late Samurai armies appeal to me greatly. I'm quite tempted by the early one as it is far more unique than the other Samurai stuff I have. Few people ever seem to wargame with early era Samurai in any system. |
You know... You will always finish by playing much better an army you love...
So if you really love samurais play them
At AdG, I think that early samurai (list 210) is clearly better than the latter one. light troops are very important at AdG and the 4 emishi (LC bow) in list 210 are very usefull...
And I didn't say anything about the power of MI bow elite... My samurai really obliterate MC and HC in most games. |

Good to know.
I'm actually only accustomed to 28mm scale.
I have looked at the early 6mm Samurai of Baccus. You think they would be good for use in L'art de la Guerre? Or is it best to go for 15mm? |

It depend of your opponents... Will they play in 6mm, 15mm or 28mm ? |

I'll probably supply the armies. Historicals are quasi dead over here.
I tend to bring the armies or the GMT or Vae Victis wargames to play.
The historian in me craves it.
A shame so few people over here are into it
Problem with 6mm seems getting terrain though. |
