Practising for Burton and a player had an unreliable cmd in the 'non primary' army (rolled 1). As the army as a whole must have one C in C (in this case from the other 'primary army'), I thought only he could spend 2 points to help them become reliable, however my apponent felt that either senior commander in each half of the whole army could spend points to help. Anybody know the answer or where it may be found? thanks |

I don't think this can be found in the main body of the rules as such because 400pt games are in the Optional Rules.
However, if you look at Allied Corps on page 78 you will see that only one is allowed.
Since each of the two "allied" armies in a 400pt game can take an ally it would seem logical (to me anyway) that each CinC was only responsible for the ally of his own army.
Does that make sense?
