Hello everyone! So I was looking over the list Feudal English which runs until the year 1322. I was looking to put together an army around Edward I right after his Welsh wars at the time of his invasions of Scotland. However, I noticed you can only upgrade 4 of the archers to longbowmen. Is this correct? I find it very odd that you can take a Welsh ally and potentially load up on 8-10 longbowmen between 1100-1284, however if you want to field an army of Edward I you can only have 4! should the list have said "upgrade all archers to longbowmen after 1284"? |

It is the same in the French version.
Maybe so that i f you want to field a consequent Longbow army, you have to take them as ally... _________________ Audentes fortuna iuvat. |

Which would be totally fine, however the welsh list ends in 1284 and the English list continues on into 1322. |

Agree it seems odd Maverick.
"should the list have said "upgrade all archers to longbowmen after 1284"?"
I think that would solve the issue. Edward I won at Falkirk in 1298AD, mainly due to his 11,000 Welsh longbowmen, so the later list should have access to more than 4 longbowmen units. _________________ http://luddite1811.blogspot.co.uk/ |
