The Richard Lionheart option says “replace sergeants with crossbow by mixed units....”
Does this mean that the Sergeants with spears (4-10) are still required?
Most other mixed units appear to replace both the spear/sword and bow/crossbow lines, which makes sense.

First excuse me for my bad english. You are right. Spearmen are still requiered. You could only replace the crossbowmen for mixed unité de, and u need to have 4 Spearmen minimum.
