Merci!
We are busy play testing the rules in London and have found a few things I need to fix.
Mostly points cost and the later pike and shotte. |

No problem, Simon.
I still have to do armies lists and reference sheet.
Right now, I've the 1st French "beta" version of this supplement
Supplément Renaissance ADLG-R
J'ai terminé la première beta version Française
Après un peu de relecture, cela devrait être bon.
A suivre... les listes d'armées et la feuille de référence... _________________ Mes figs |

I've been busy doing some updates to the supplement, have found a few errors and made a few tweaks based on play testing in the CLWC.
So far, the games have been very enjoyable and you get the right feel of period.
have bought a new army over the Xmas break (there was a 20% sale.....) |

|
G'day,
after much testing and re-writing here is the much promised update to my fan supplement to ADLG, ADLG-R!
The supplement covers from 1500 to 1696 to cover the Italian Wars , the 30 years and English Civil Wars, the Siege of Vienna and up to Louis XIV.
You still need to own a copy of ADLG to play it, so, if you haven't bought a copy, go buy a PDF version off Herve! It will cost you €5.
Thank you to Herve for allowing me to release this unofficial fan supplement.
I've removed the outdated versions from Facebook and the new version is located here.
https://tinyurl.com/y6xnay3u
I've created four documents;
QRS
Army Lists
The rules/supplement
Setup guide
My aim is to keep the rules as is till after Warfare 2019 to give them a good run.
Have fun!
Simon

Posté le: Ven Juin 07, 2019 5:15 am Sujet du message: Couple of rules questions |
|
Hi, is this the right forum for rules questions? We did a test game and enjoyed it. Couple of questions though:
The main one was around "support". The combat table gives +1 for each support. Is rear support a type of "support" here or is rear support a different mechanism just for rallying?
Related to that - the distances for support seem quite generous? A single unit of mounted could support almost your entire army with a 4UD range.
Thanks in advance |

Another rule question . . .
What units get the +1 for shooting at mounted targets?
According to the QRS, 'Bow shooting at mounted' gets +1, but that raises a couple of problems.
If it's a bonus for bow, does it apply to LMI, LH, and Cv with bow?
If it's a bonus for LMI Bow, does it apply to MI and HI with bow, and/or crossbow, arquebus or musket? |

Pas pour le moment, peut se développer si les gens sont intéressés.
J'ai dressé des listes pour la guerre d'Italie, les guerres de religion, la guerre de 30 ans, l'ECW, le siège de Vienne et jusqu'en 1696 _________________ Simon

Bow gets a +1 for shooting at mounted if it's LMI shooting (Bow/Crossbow).
Representing the mass bow shooting.
Firearms don't get it as they are slower to fire _________________ Simon

G’day,
I think I answered this on FaceBook as well.
Rear Support is only for removing cohesion markers, not for melee.
I have made it a little generous with one mounted being able to support 4UD. That allows it to cover two Pike & Shot units or a few mounted units, but give the effect I was after with having multiple lines.
It worked really well this week when I got into a shooting match with two lines of Pike & Shot. I was taking more cohesion markers but I had rear support, so, with the General, was able to remove two markers a turn. _________________ Simon
