The Worlds 2019 weekend. 14-16 June 2019

The current plan is to hold the event in 2 adjacent hotels in Rome, and offer an "all in" price to include Tournament fee + light dinner Friday evening + 2 x light brunch (Saturday and Sunday) + Saturday dinner + accommodation in a twin/double room. Single rooms will be offered as a supplement, and also there will be a 'non playing partners' rate.

More details (inc tournament rules etc) TBC, this announcement is more of a diary date

Is there a chance that this will happen the week before or after another big event, perhaps something in England? I would love to participate, and that would make it easier to justify the travel expense.

Or put another way around, since some guys want to travel over from the USA, could we organise some other events in the ajacent weekends, preferably in locations easily accessible to international travelers??

Some news....

Booking form later this week (hopefully),

The event will be held in the Grand Hotel Gianicolo (http://www.grandhotelgianicolo.it/),

The first game will be on Friday evening when there will also be a dinner onsite.

The entry fee for the competition will include lunch and dinner.

Special rates available of 111 Euros for single rooms at the venue hotel, or 68/head for shared (twin/double) rooms.

Hopefully that's enough to start planning flights etc for everyone... more details to follow!
