FOLLOW-UP QUESTION
There is no rule that says if a looting unit is attacked, it stops looting. I suspect it's an obvious oversight and it should be understood? |

Do you mean something like the third bp under attacking the camp Citation: | A unit attacking the enemy camp is considered to be in melee. It cannot therefore be shot at and such units cannot evade if charged. If it is attacked by another unit the attack on the camp ceases, and it fights this new opponent. It will then conform to its attacker in its next movement phase (see p 52) |

Yes, something like that. But that is a unit attacking the camp and since you will want to keep doing that, it takes care of itself. Suppose you are looting, you are attacked, you manage to win the melee immediately. You are still facing the camp. Are you still looting? I don't think you are, but the rules don't cover it. |

Umm, the text readsÂ
If it is attacked by another unit the attack on the camp ceases, and it fights this new opponent. It will then conform to its attacker in its next movement phase
So looting stops immediately the unit is attacked, irrespective of the result of the melee. |
