THE ART OF WAR TOURNAMENT IN THE ALJARAFE AREA (SEVILLA)

GENERAL INFORMATION


Date: Saturday 2nd and Sunday 3rd December 2023.
Organizers: Trokolon Club of Seville.


TOURNAMENT RULES:

Scale: Armies will be played with 15mm miniatures, based on the official rules for this scale. The miniatures must represent correctly the type of troop assigned to them and the army must be fully painted.

The V4 "Art De La Guerre" version will apply, including the latest official publication, as well as the clarifications and amendments presented in the latest FAQ. This information will be available on the website: ADLG - Art De La Guerre.

Scoring: Will be ordered according to the victory points marked on the Excel sheet downloadable on the official WEB page of the game.

Duration: Games will have a duration of 2h and 30' with a minimum of 7 turns per player. The first 2 hours of play will be announced and at 2 hours and 00 minutes the players will start blitz turns if necessary. Players shall ensure that a game does not last longer than the stipulated time. The arbiter reserves the right to end the game as it stands at 2h 30 minutes.

BLITZ TURNOVER for each player shall be as follows:
3 minutes timed for movements.
Resolution of shots and combats.

Open Championship: Lists of no more than 200 points from all periods are allowed, in accordance with the V4 version of the L'Art de la Guerre rules. Lists must be sent for supervision before 26 November at 23:59 hours to the following email georgirion@gmail.com

Rounds: Three rounds will be played on Saturday and two on Sunday morning, in which crossings between players from the same club will be avoided whenever possible. The first pairing will be random. The rest of the pairings will be Swiss system, avoiding crossings with players who have already played against each other.


We will soon publish the tournament venue, nearby hotels and the schedules and prices of the meals, etc.
