The Perry Twins seem to think they were generic Middle Ages dudes with all sorts of weapons.

Which, given they are quite literally a bunch of irregular bandits tagging along with the real army seems not all that unreasonable as a guess.
I also kinda doubt that a bunch of bandits, town scum and random villanous types left all that much evidence about their clothing choices in the historical record either...

There are lots of contemporary illustrations of Brigans Kevin.
They appear to be mainly armed with: long knives & small bucklers, short spears - sometimes with assorted round, teardrop or heater type shields, but often depicted shieldless, and also with polearms.
If you Google - froissart chronicles illustrations - or other contemporary chroniclers, you'll find a fair few images. Often they are used to depict the soldiers in biblical 'massacre of the innocents' illustrations.
