| Leidang are allowed a fortified camp but Vikings not. My understanding was Vikings frequently seized islands or other easily protected areas and set these up as fortified camps - so why no fortified camp in the list? Just an oversight? |

It looks to me like an error Alan, as Leidang list appear to represent the 'home' nation armies, so a fortified camp is probably unlikely.
Whilst your standard Vikings in the list are raiders and as you stated tended to fortify their camps or build stockaded camps on marshy islands to protect their ships. |
