The Devizes club are currently planning to have an Attack 25, corresponding weekend next year. After the Elephant heavy armies this, year next year will try to feature chariots.
Same arrangements as for this year, painted 25/28mm armies, latest version of rules/FAQ, 60mm UD, 4 games over two days (so we can chat and shop) and hopefully an earlier finish on Sunday for those with a long journey home
Still subject to (hopefully minor) clarifications the idea is that any army that features 1 or more chariots in their list (except only scythed chariots) can be chosen, along with appropriate allies if desired. The army must have at least half (rounded up) of the maximum number of chariots available at the chosen date/option up to the maximum available. Normal rules for allies.
Further details/permitted armies will be posted soonish but I don't envisage any significant changes

Count me in please Andy - always a great event and some really beautiful painted 28mm armies again this year.
I was too busy throwing dice and avoiding elephants to take any photos, but maybe you can prevail on Phil (who I think took a few for the Devizes club website) to loan us some to post up on the forum.
Maybe we might even encourage some 'International' participants? I hear that the French ADLG players are big in 28mm
I was very pleased that my 30 year old, gloss painted Tin Soldier Miniatures Samurai, rudely awoken from their cryogenic sleep in my soldier cupboard and rebased to ADLG actually did so well. I must thank all my opponents for rolling 1's at all the appropriate times, and not rolling 6's on others (Mark Clarke does not fall into this category however ... - best out of 3 Mark?)
Thanks for keeping us all in order.
Cheers

Still puzzled why I came 17th with 162 points.
More points than 14th, 15th and 16th places. _________________ Player 747 don't call me Jumbo |

I'd blame Crowdstrike if I was Andy ... everybody else is _________________ 'He could have lived a risk-free, moneyed life, but he preferred to whittle away his fortune on warfare.' Xenophon, The Anabasis |

Any news on the 2025 event Andy? There's nothing yet on the Devizes Club website (that I can see anyway)?
Cheers
