I am new to ADLG and started on V4 so no prior understandings derived from earlier versions.
In the situation where an attacking unit defeats a defender (A) which has another defender (B) in simple support - if impetuous it must pursue. But what are the priorities and does it conform to B?
1. does it advance, sliding along the flank of B?
2. does it slide along the front of B as it was alread in corner-corner contact?
3. does it advance and turn to conform to B's flank? |

It advances forward 1 UD. It is permitted to slide. Since the supporting unit B is not a "new" enemy, it does not conform to it. It can be awkward for the impetuous unit as it will likely be attacked on the flank the next melee phase. |

You go straight unless you mean a new enemy. New is defined as someone the unit was not touching in anyway. |
