Following last years Elephant fest this year will be a Chariot fest!
I have just had the dates confirmed as July 19/20 2025, usual venue of Devizes School.
I currently have no details of cost, how to obtain tickets etc and will post when the details have been confirmed.
For the 25/28mm competition
Armies to be 200 points in 25/28mm, using 60mm frontage, latest rules and official clarifications/errata. 6 x 4 tables, two games each day. Supply own terrain and If possible bring your own playing cloth.
Chariot based armies, no Elephants. Only armies that have at least one compulsory Light and/or Heavy chariot in their list, (excludes scythed chariots). The army must have at least half the compulsory number of Light/Heavy chariots available (note several lists have date restrictions on choice) to the maximum. Any ally chosen does not contribute to the number but each ally is bound by the same selection rules if it can have chariots.
possible armies are (there may be others that I have missed!)
1 -16, 20 - 27, 29 - 33, 36 - 37, 54, 57, 58, 64 - 66, 72, 78 ,-80, 89, 98, 99, 116,

Don't understand:-
"At least half of the compulsory number of chariots available"
All compulsory are compulsory. Shirley?
What were you trying to say? An example perhaps?
Edit. Even more confusing 15 of those lists don't have compulsory chariots. _________________ Player 747 don't call me Jumbo |

sorry if the post is not clear.
I used the word compulsory as any army used must contain at least 1 chariot.
eg if there army list says 0 - 4 chariots the army fielded must contain 2 - 4 chariots
if the army list says 4 - 12 chariots then the army fielded must contain 6 - 12 chariots
sorry for any confusion

Army 79 may also be an option, as I believe (& stand to be corrected) that the 2 Compulsory elephants can be replaced by 2 (or even 3) WarWagon Blades? _________________ 'He could have lived a risk-free, moneyed life, but he preferred to whittle away his fortune on warfare.'
