An Impetuous unit is within 1UD of LI directly in front. It makes a Spontaneous charge "without orders" and the LI successfully evades. The Impetuous unit has not received orders this turn, so it is eligible for Uncontrolled charge.
This is nuts, of course, but only slightly touched upon by the last bullet on page 45.
I think most players will recognize it as an obvious oversight, but I drop it here in the hope that this might prove useful if and when the rules get a revision. |

You fail to see it has received orders, it just hasn't had to pay for it. _________________ Player 747 don't call me Jumbo |

Oops, you are right - it is listed on page 25 as a kind of order. Okay not an oversight, a contradiction! |

As Dickstick says, an uncontrolled charge only occurs where the impetuous unit has not received ANY orders, irrespective of the CP paid.Â
Here the unit HAS received orders (for 0CP) so is not subject to an uncontrolled charge. |
