The rules on interpenetration say “If the unit passed through CANNOT be fully crossed…â€.
Can you pass partially through and voluntarily shorten your move to fail to pass through fully, and then make use of the Adjusting Position rule to push aside the troops you partially passed through even though you COULD pass through completely (by just moving further)? |

You could try, but then Tim Porter would fix you with a hard stare and you would have to sheepishly slink away.
So try this rationalization. Page 39 says if you "cannot" fully cross you adjust. Since you are positing a situation where you COULD do it but are just choosing not to you are not allowed to adjust. |
