Hi Guys,
I think we played this correctly.
Two units are engaged on a hill with one of them being uphill and receiving a +1 in melee.
The uphill unit is hit in the flank by another formed unit; and takes a hit.
In the melee what is the flanked units total melee value?
We said 0
Flanked = 0
Hit = -1
Uphill = 0
Is that correct?

Yes.
Like a general or terrain effect, uphill is not the base combat factor. This was answered by a DT response to Javier some time ago.
It is the base combat factor set to zero when flanked. |

So to clarify Dan,
0 (base) -1 (hit) +1 (up hill) = 0
And up hill is only determined by the unit and its man in adversary, whether the flank support unit is uphill of anyone doesn’t matter.
Right? |
