I have gleaned from the forum that some players have one base of 3 and one of 2 to make up their LMI Jav. Is this an accepted convention in Europe where you have been playing AdG forever?

I like the idea, because so many lists show a choice between LI or LMI Jav and this way it saves painting several extra bases.

It's a good idea.
I'have some MI with only 5 (even 4 Embarassed

) on very decorated (trees, rocs) base.

I think it's particulary good for LMI jls.

Yes. You can use two bases of 2 minis to create your javelinmen, and this is the most versatile way: either one javelinmen, or 2 Li Very Happy
