the situation is like this
111222333
aaacccvvv--bbb
element bbb is 2 cm away from vvv. how can it move so to come to contact flank to flank and corner to corner with vvv in order to give support assuming units can not move sideways but only with wheel!!!
i want this
111222333
aaacccvvvbbb
generally speaking if units of 1 base ( mounted units or lights ) cant move sideways i feel its difficult to go to support positions with friendly units when they are close to them and in same level.
thx in advance

If the distance between the opposing lines is at least 1 UD bg bbb can slide by up to 1 UD to move into support. eg: a bg have to move at least 1 UD to get a free slide of 1 UD.
If the distance is less than UD my only idea to get there is a combination of quarterturn and wheeling.
This maybe corrected by more experienced players....at least I feel sure..... |

You can't, sorry! except if bbb ils a light unit who can do 2 hlf turns. If not, bbb can only wheel and advance, ado so finish along side with 333 and not corner to corner (but alongside is tacticly better). _________________ "Quand on a pas de technique, faut y aller à la zob"
