Page 40, right column, bullet 10:
"if contacting enemy is not possible, the unit do[es] not make an uncontrolled charge"
Is this passage in relation to enemy ability to evade, or something else?
If my knight cannot reach the enemy LH because I know he must evade and not be within range does it apply?

No, impetuous knights are rather stupid.
Evading cavalry or LH is a good tactic against impetuous units. |

only waht the rules said a incotriled charge don't come if the chager can't reach the target
By exemple, a Sp is on a flank of impetuous Kn, 1,5 UD away.
So , if the Kn made a 1/4 turn , he loses 2UD move and so can't reach the sp. So the incotrled charge don't come.
