According to the rules if you run an army list with a Strategist, the Strategist must be the CNC. However, in the Medieval Polish list, #241, Vytautas, Grand Duke of Lithuania, is listed as a Strategist in 1410, the year of the battle of Grunwald. I do not disagree that Vytautas was the mind behind the joint Polish-Lithuanian campaign that lead to the Teutonic defeat at Grunwald. However, Vytautas is then NOT listed as a Strategist for the Lithuanian army list #237, for 1410 or any other year.
How should the Grunwald allied army be best represented? A Lithuanian Army with a Vytautas Strategist and a Polish allied contingent, or A Polish army with Lithuanian Allies and Vytautas as a Strategist even though King Władysław II Jagiełło was the overall commander. |

If you have a strategist he must be the CiC. _________________ Hasta la victoria Siempre!
