Why is there no possibility to put a general in the scutarii? I can`t see a reason what the differnce here can be in comparrison to gallic warriors?
Both armies are from the same "origin" culture and their fighting style seems to be similar, so why should a spanish chieftain not join his Warriors/scutarii in the frontrank? _________________ Wohnort Limburg 30 Km nördlich von Frankfurt

Sure you can have a general lead the Scutarii, he just can't be permanently attached to them. Maybe the thinking is that any chieftan with stature enough to command a wing of the army is going to be rich enough to always have a horse available...
Or maybe the list writers didn't think of it... _________________ - Let the Die be Cast |

The "horseriding general" is maybe the clue, spanish are known for their horsemanship in this age and that maybe the reason to not have a permanent general in the scutarii. _________________ Wohnort Limburg 30 Km nördlich von Frankfurt
