If your pursuit takes you into the flank of a unit that is already engaged, it looks like this does not cause a cohesion loss. P 62 "Abilities ..., and there is no loss of cohesion due to multiple attacks."
Seems to jar with the multiple opponents text on p 59 which says when unit in melee is engaged by a new unit on its flank or rear edge, it takes a cohesion loss immediately.
I thought I'd seen this before, but can't find any threads here, nor text in the FAQ. By the way, when will there be a new FAQ? |

Correct. It is an exception.
I suppose they did it for two reasons. Flank attacks are pretty devastating already. Generally they seem to view units in touch in sort of an on-going melee and not distinct separate battles. So it makes sense that way too.
An FAQ update has been requested for Late June / Early July ish. |
