I finally painted a new ADLG ancients army using Forged in Battle figures. Pretty happy with how it turned out! Pictures of the army are up on my blog here. They do look like they'll be fun to run!

Did you use the pikes sold by War&Empire? Do you have to cut them to length?

Thanks! I bought these steel spears a very long time ago with a Xyston army. I'm so sorry, I can't remember the maker of these. I used them out of the bag, no cutting required.

For spears I use plastic broom bristles . I pinch and shape the spear tip and spray them brown paint the tip done ! Had to do this I love Hellenistic army's but kept poking my hands. Their is a old story of how one gamer came to watch a game between two other players. When he went to take a seat he was impaled by the unit of pike that was sitting in the causality box . lol he stood up in the unit was stuck to his ads , they had to remove them carefully. Lol
