Do mixed shooters suffer a penalty for shooting in non-cover terrain? For example, a unit of heavy spear + crossbow standing in a field. I know the unit would suffer a terrain penalty in melee because the front rank is heavy spear. Will they get a minus for shooting as well? And, if so, what will it be (-1 or -2)?

I think the answer is that they don't suffer while shooting, but I have looked for this answer and cannot find it.

I think you are confusing "disorder" which means having taken a cohesnion loss. Defined page 56.

Any shooter does not get a -1 unless shooting from "cover" or "difficult". I.E. simple rough without cover effects no one -- not even mounted.
