Hi Janos.
What is your problem?
Is the 40x40 base too small ?
If you need a just little bigger base, the most important is the 40 mm front.
The depth can be more than 40, if necessary. It won't change the game. |

ahh ok
my old Essex hungarian warwagons used to be a problem, never fitted on a 80mm x 40mm, and cart artlillery with the draft animals same problem, but if depth not a problem, fine . |

Depth is not a real problem for 40x40 bases, for ex 45 or 50 deep instead of 40.
For wwg, due to the way of playing, I think the 80 mm depth are important, because you will play both with the front and the flank... ! (Then, in a way, the flank becomes the front...).
(Sorry, I had misunderstood "cart" for my first answer, I just realize you mean "WWG"). |

You had it right the first time, I did mean Cart (medium artillery), the "Late Roman Panzer Tank", not quite as good as in DBM. I just had a similar problem with my Hungarian warwagons, 4 Essex draft horses were 2 too many for a 80mm base |

I have mine on a 40*40 and it works well.
It's the Essex cart with 2 mules and a bolt shooter in the cart
Looks great
