Looking at the diagram on page 42.

I am not sure if C and D can end up in contact with X2. If C slides and bursts through L1 to charge the front of X2, what could D do and where would it end up? Or if D moves first, could C then support it by being to its left - not sure if the Elephant ZOC is an issue then.

So the sequence matters as do the exact distances. That diagram was to show all the various options.

If you move directly forward once you are in a ZOC then it is not an issue, so support becomes an option.
