In the enemy turn, a LI unit is moved into charge range of 3x Impetuous MI flanked by some cavalry.
- Are the impetuous MI forced to act first, or can the player first use his cavalry to charge the enemy LI forcing them to evade before he decides what the MI will do?
- If the enemy LI evade away, are the Impetuous MI still forced to act at all?
- If the LI are in rough terrain and do not evade when charged by one or two impetuous MI units such that the remaining MI cannot reach the LI, are these impetuous units still forced to act?

2-3) If an impetuous unit that cannot contact an enemy it does not move. p 40 right column, 4th bullet from bottom.
2) also please note p 41 last paragraph on left, 2nd sentence beginning "Conversely..." |

Hi and thanks for the response.
So in summary, the 'impetuosity' of the unit is only checked at the moment the player commands it to move (or at the end of his movement phase), unlike identifying those units capable of multiple moves which occurs at the start of the player's movement phase. |

Imetuous move are done at the end of the corps activation in any order the player choose (P40 6th bullet), when no more CP are available. If the impetuous move conditions are no more in force (i.e a valuable target) they are no more impetuous and can stay were they are. _________________ "Damn the torpedoes, full speed ahead"
