Re page 24 - Commander in Melee - 2nd para - [..]He can engage in a melee but only if the player chooses to and says so to his opponent [..]
Returned from a game, had following situation:
My commander was attached to unit A.
Opponent moved, during his turn, into melee with unit A.
At this stage, I announced that the commander will engage in melee
Is the announcement at this stage acceptable?
Or can player announce such intention in his game-turn only? |

There is no requirement of whom must declare first. Only that it is done before the dice are rolled. You cannot roll your dice fastto prevent the other player from deciding. Good sportsmanship should prevail. |
