In the first round of combat against scythed chariots, the unit fighting the chariots cannot claim support from friendly units on either side of it (p56). Can those units therefore be shot at by the player whose scythed chariots have just charged in?
If the melee lasts long enough for supports to be involved, I am sure they cannot be shot at, but what about that first round?

The answer is already in the FAQ : "A unit which doesn’t supports another one in melee can be shot at."
