My question comes fron the note at the bottom of the list that states that each Legion is composed of 2 Hastati 2 Principes and 1 Triarii. Is this note a requirement or its just a historical note put for completeness?
Can i just follow minimum and maximum from the list or am i forced to buy "complete legions"?
For example can i buy 6 Hastati and just 2 Principes?

You have to stick to the ratio - its a one-off for this specific list ..
