Hi all,

A couple more conforming questions popped up with our group. I think we've got them correct but thought we'd check with the hive mind!

Q1, If it is impossible to conform due to intervening troops who cannot move does the base conform the best as it can do?

We think that if it must/chooses to yes. Our reading of p54 Unable to conform is basically it conforms as much as it can, and if the situation changes it conforms fully asap after that (immediately?)

Are we correct?

Q2. You can pursue after a unit routs but can you conform after pursuit?

We can't see that stated anywhere but given the wording on conforming on p52 i'd say yes it does?

Also p12 of the current FAQ says this under Timing of Conformation says:

Just after a melee if a unit routs the opponent on its front and there is another opponent whose front is in contact with the unit’s flank or rear (as per p54). The conformation then replaces the pursuit.
During a pursuit, if the pursuer contacts a new enemy. If that new unit is not automatically destroyed it must conform with the front of the pursuer

So we presume after a pursuit move into contact you also conform. Correct?

1 Yes. You conform as much as possible. So you slide until you cannot conform further.

2 As you cite From the FAQ: During a pursuit, if the pursuer contacts a new enemy. If that new unit is not automatically destroyed it must conform with the front of the pursuer.

But it is NOT the pursuer who conforms but the contacted. What this allows is say you pursue and hit a new unit. It conforms immediately so in its turn it has options if CP are spent. I.E. Disengage or Rally.
