do you mean rules about camels ?

in brush, they move as in clear terrain (so 4 UD for medium camel, 5 UD for light camel) and fight as in clear (so no penalty)
in dune, they move as in rough terrain (so 3 UD for medium camel and 4UD for light camel) but fight without penalty

also, all units on horse (friendly and ennemy ; no elephant !) in contact (even on a corner) with a camel has a -1 penalty for melee. Camels are said to stink !?!

i also have a rule that says that bedouins always win but it only counts when i play bedouins against non-bedouin army.

Ammendment sheet for list 75 states all count as bedouin tribes.
Not all bedouins ride camels and not all camels are ridden by bedouins.

There must be some advantage to being a bedouin otherwise it's all wasted print in several lists.

So what's the significance?

ohh THIS bedouin tribe rule !


with bedouin tribe option, you must replace all javelin nomad from list 75 (6 to 16 from the base list, 3-8 for an ally ; medium foot or javelinmen) by light horse with javelin or by medium cavalry.

this bedouin tribe rule is true for both the basis army list 75 and if you choose it as an ally


you're right about the camels not being bedouin in a camel-free non-bedouin army or whatever... but it's the only fun i can have with such armies

replacement with LH or MCav with the same numbers :
between 6 and 16 for the basis army
between 3 and 8 for an ally corps

Bedouins keep popping up in all sorts of lists so I imagined there was more significance.
