If a unit with an included Commander loses cohesion (but is not routed) and its opponent then rolls a 1, then the commander is lost and the unit looses another cohesion point. Assuming the second loss of cohesion doesn't cause the unit to rout does this mean the unit becomes a "standard" unit (without a general) or are both the unit+commander lost?
Plus can I just check that a routed a unit with an included commander has a demoralisation value of 2 (unit) + 1 + command value? That would be 4 points for a competent commander.
Please add page numbers in nay reply so I can mark them in my copy of the rules.

It becomes a standard unit. (p25, 3rd para of "Commander included in a unit")
When you lose a commander the cost is 1 for ordinary, 2 competent, 3 brilliant and 4 strategist. (p62)
So losing a unit with an integral competent commander counts 4 towards demoralisation. _________________ Putting the ink into incompetence |
