We are pleased to invite you to Cork in 2019 for our first ADLG tournament in the "real" capital.

Taking place on the weekend of 26th to 27th January 2019 in conjunction with the Warpcon convention at University College Cork.

The format will be as follows:

200 point 15mm armies taken from lists 172 to 283
Any allies used must also be taken from these lists
Five games - three on the Saturday, two on the Sunday
Entry fee of €30.00, which also includes convention entry

The event website of www.warpcon.co has useful information on the venue and surrounding area (accomodation, travel etc)

I'm definitely interested in going to this, but there are a few logistical details I need to sort out.

Ideally, I'd like to fly in on the Saturday and out on the Sunday so the planned start time on Saturday and and finish time on Sunday are crucial.

Friday night to Sunday night is how all UK visitors have previously done it. Flights with Aer Lingus (civilised) or RyanAir (you know what you get). Departing Heathrow, Stansted and Gatwick I think.

I will also put together a list of hotels and guesthouses.......

Except "Aer Lingus" from BHX these days seems to be Stobart Air. At least they've got years of experience managing driver hours Twisted Evil

For anyone planning to attend can they let me know asap. We have 16 entrants so far and there may be a restriction due to space.

For hotels, the venue is UCC ( the university) and any hotel or guest house on the Western Road will be in walking distance of both the venue and the city centre.

Both the venue and the hotels are a 10 minute taxi ride from the airport.

Hi Dave

Have you bought a ticket off the Warpcon website?

No one has to do that. We will be collecting all monies on the day.

It confuses things otherwise.
