Situation:

Two units in melee front edge to front edge

One of these units is contacted on its flank legally as a result of a pursuit by the front edge of the pursuing unit so the two units are now regarded as in melee

What happens ?

Does the contacted units' melee factor drop to zero next turn and does it suffer a cohesion loss ?

Does the contacted units' melee factor drop to zero next turn and no cohesion loss ?

Does the contacted unit suffer no loss of melee factors and no cohesion loss ?

The section on pursuits (P62) seems at odds with the section on flank attacks (P56) and the difference between 'charged' and 'attacked' now being used in the rules/FAQs

Hiya,

The unit will fight with a basic combat factor of zero on the next combat round, but will not suffer a cohesion point drop when being contacted by the pursuing enemy.
