If in a group are a light troop and a heavy troop, for example a light horse with a heavy horse, what is the command distance for move the group?

If in a competition a Spaniard accidentally moves a unit of Cv just out of command range of his general, and is unable to find a loophole in the rules to rectify his mistake himself, is there any chance the community of player on the forum will bale him out by finding a rule that doesnt actually exist?
