Do you prefer to put your riders on their horses before or after you paint them (assuming the come separately)? |

I glue the riders on before painting that way you get a metal to metal bond this will be stronger than a paint to paint bond which you get if you paint horse and rider separately. |

Almost always I also glue riders on to horses to get the best metal to metal contact. Occasional exceptions for unusual figures. |
