Does a unit have to fire at an enemy unit to its front or can it instead supply support shooting to another unit firing ahead. e.g.
xxxyyyzzz
aaabbbccc
Where bbb is firing at yyy, can aaa and ccc give support shooting to bbb rather than firing at xxx and zzz respectively on their own account? The effect of which is that yyy gets all the shooting on it.
All I can see in the rules is that a unit does not have to shoot so therefore can supply supprt shooting.
I assume that also, if aaa wanted to shoot on its own account it would have to shoot at xxx with support from bbb and then bbb would not shoot at y but could support both aaa and ccc in shooting at their respective targets? |

Shooting in support is still shooting. So if aaa and ccc wish to shoot they must follow the target priorities. |
