Hi All,

You are cordially invited to attend the ADLG Southern League, Game 3. This event will be hosted by Yours Truly at OX2 9RN (Oxford) on 20 August 2022.

This is a 15mm, 200 point event with all armies being dated between 336 and 197BC. This time period extends from the coronation of Alexander the Great to Philip V's loss of Greece, Thrace, and Asia Minor to the nasty Romans.

The entry fee is £10 and includes a FREE bbq lunch, with all proceeds going to my son's scout group.

Further to my initial posting above, I wish to confirm that all systems are go for the ADLG Charity Event on 20 Aug.

For those wishing to attend, it would be much appreciated if you could email your list to me by Wednesday of next week.....if you are attending Britcon this weekend, I will also be accepting hand written lists on scraps of paper.

This will be a 15mm event, with all 200 point armies being dated sometime between 336 and 197BC. This period extends from the coronation of Alexander the Great to Philip V's humiliating defeat at the hands of the nasty Romans.

It has been brought to my attention that there will be a rail strike on 19 and 20 Aug, so anyone coming in from London will be advised to car share or take the Oxford Tube (which only costs £18 for a return ticket).

The event will be hosted outside my house (in a covered car park), so please dress sensibly for the weather. Although the £10 entry fee will include a FREE BBQ lunch, I may decide to sell some ice-cold beverages if the weather is warm. All funds will of course be given to my son's Scout group.

Although you will not have to pay for street parking, I would ask that attendees car pool where possible, to avoid cheesing off the neighbours.
