If an impetuous units’ path to the nearest enemy is through a unit that has previously charged but failed to make contact, does it burst through them?
It looks like they do unless I’m missing something.
What a mess! |

A very unlikely situation, especially where non-impetuous troops can stop early if the target of their charge evades. But as described, impetuous units without orders who have an enemy in charge range will burst through intervening friends that you have placed in their way.Â
Moral; keep better control of your units, placing them where they can be of use rather than a hinderance to your plans. |

1) Yes there is no exception for a unit that moved but is not engaged in support or melee
2) This never* (Theoretically it can) happens. You are thinking DBM.
Never seen it. But the rules cover it. |

I had it happen when a unit charging evaders rolled down and is now parked in front of an impetuous unit who has other targets to charge (besides the recently departed evaders) around him.
It seemed odd so I wanted to check that this is how to do it. |
