|
I don't see the import of:
Citation: | A unit that attempts to evade when it has an eneny ZoC on its flank must first make a quarter turn. It may not evade to its rear. The evade move may result [in] the unit exit[ing] the table. |
As the rules currently stand, units must orient to the MTE (evaders head away from, non-evaders facing). Evaders will quarter turn; non-evaders "pivot". Evaders can leave the table; non-evader must stop.
It's not clear to me if any of these subtle distinctions are being changed? |

Don't panic.
The original wording was "The initial reorientation is done only relative to the ZoC..." of the MTE. This was hard to understand. This errata note makes it clear. |

Ah - thank you!
I got it into my head the reorientation would include a wheel to face. But I now see the diagram does not support that. So I guess "pivot" is out and "turn" should be understood. |
